Castle Green at Jo Richardson School helping to serve the local community.
The main entrance to Castle Green has a Foyer and Reception area housing the Café and Uniform Shop leading to the other parts of the building. Above the main entrance there is a state of the art gym with long views across public playing fields opposite. This part of the building is intended to act as a ‘beacon’, visible from a long distance. It breaks the general roof-line, and is distinguished by its egg-shaped form and strong yellow render finish. The main building has a triple-height ‘internal street’ area that provides direct access to all parts of the building and provides dining and internal social spaces. The aesthetically purpose built design has superb specialist and multipurpose classrooms, meeting rooms, a hall and great outdoor and indoor sports facilities. Castle Green at Jo Richardson Community School facilities are available to hire for sports, functions, meetings, weddings, award ceremonies.
